This is a very strange one. The win95/outlook2000 pc was working with me Exchange 5.5 server (although maybe a little slow when making the initial connection). I then added an NT login script for that user (and all other users) to map some network drives, and set the PC time from the server using the 'net time' command. All the other PCs worked fine, but this one particular PC came up with the error:- 'Unable to open your default email folders. You do not have permission'. I logged in as that user on a different PC, and was able to access that mailbox without any problems. I removed the login script for that user, and logged back in on the problem PC as the same user, and there were no problems. I enable the login script again, and the problem came back. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Sounds like the login script is allocating a profile somewhere. In Control Panel / Mail / Microsoft Exchange Server is a profile set. If so enter select properties for MS Exchange Server....It might have a different user's identity in there. On rerunning Exchange there will be a message stating thet the location that messages get delivered to have altered for this profile.....Do you want....? If you answer Yes to this then the profile will be altered for the login script on that machine.
