Hmmmm... The windows 2003 serve comes with pop3 and smtp option for installing pop3 and smtp server.

I thought that this came with Exchange. Can some one smarter then I explain this.

The POP3 and SMTP services comes with both products, actually Exchange builts on top of the Windows 2003 SMTP service.

The Windows 2003 POP3 service is very basic and quite limited, but could be good enough for a smaller company with few mail requirements.
