Hi,

Im installing a new domain with 2 x 2000 servers all in the same domain. I have installed Exchange 2000 on one of the servers, and am wondering how I go about installing exchange 2000 on the other server so they replicate properly etc. e.g. Public folders, and say, the administrator mailbox.

Has anyone got some guidance on installing multiple exchange servers (just 2!) in the same windows 2000 .local domain?

Many thanks.

Andy

It's pretty straight-forward. The first Exchange server creates the Exchange Org and you can configure your global settings. Then install E2k on the second server and join the existing Exchange Org. Then you just need to configure at the server level anything you want to configure. You will be able to set replication schedules for Public Folders, etc. Check out http://www.microsoft.com/exchange and on the left side, look under 'technical resources' and there are a bunch of Exchange whitepapers that should walk you through the things you need. Good luck.
