First let me say what a GREAT board this is.

I was told today that I need to set up Exchange 2003 in the next 6 weeks.
We currently have W2K installed, and I was wondering what additional features Exchange 2003 will use if installed on Windows Server 2003? Would I be losing a lot of functionality by installing it on Windows 2000?

P.S. I have used Exchange 5.5 and 2000 in the past but this is my first full planning and install. Any other "nutshell" or planning checklist articles or links would be greatly appreciated.

I installed w2003 with exchange 2003. I did a dcpromo on w2003 to join my w2k server. Everything was running fine until I did a windows update on my w2003 server due to Sasser virus. New users cannot be connected to the mailbox. It always shows name resolution is invaild or something. I tried all means but to no avail. Had to reinstall twice and to clear all entries in AD. What a nightmare!
