Hi, Been going through some training for exchnage 2007 and have setup owa, exchange anywhere, Have purchase a ucc cert, etc etc.Have also done push mail and one thing that occured to me is that the mobile device has never asked to install the cert. The cert is being used by owa and push email working fine. Should you have to copy this cert to the device or is it protected. Is there a way to tell. Thanks for any help.

The mobile device probably already has the certificate. Hence why you have no certificate errors/prompts. In other words, you're good to go. What provider are you using?

Windows Mobile has built-in intermediate/root certificates. As long as your Windows Mobile device contains these certificates, it'll automatically trust the certificate you purchased.
