We have a mixed environment of Exchange 2003/Exchange 2007.  All external email routes through our Exchange 2003 server before our 2007 server.  Every email from a particular host has a winmail.dat file attached when it hits an Exchange 2007 mailbox but is okay when going to an Exchange 2003 mailbox.  I've had them send me in html and plain text format and it makes no difference.  Any ideas?

The issue is resolved by the host changing their Message Delivery setting "Exchange Rich-text format" from "Determined by individual user settings" to "never use".

What I don't understand is how Exchange 2003 understood the message formatting but Exchange 2007 didn't.  Same Outlook 2003 client on the recipient end.
