Hi All, I have a Windows 98 PC with Outlook 97 as MSExchange client. My Pc connects to a NT domain, using TCP/IP. I want to know how to enable work-offline capabilities in Outlook and how to get mails synchronised. Basically I want to use the outlook from home and prepare mails and read mails, and I want to update them next day morning. Need help. Thanks and Regards

This works for outlook 98/2k - should be similar for 97? Close Outlook Go to control panel and select the Mail icon. Select Properties of the Exchange Account. Go to the Advanced Tab. Click the Offline folder file button at the bottom of the tab and select a place/name for the offline file. Tick the Enable offline use button. OK all the dialogs This should have the basics working. You will need to sync things into the offline folders. (Press F9 with outlook running) The initial sync may take a long time. Then it should be a case of dialing up and pressing F9 to send/receive/sync everything. Again I will say that this works for outlook 2000 and maybe not for 97.
