Hi!

I am a new Network Administrator where I work. I am also responsible for our Exchange Server.

This server was installed with Exchange 5.5. It was apparently upgraded to Exchange 2000.

I wanted to find out what the latest service pack was for Exchange and went into the Exchange Manager app to see if I could find it there. The only Exchange Manager app is the 5.5 version. When I start it, it asks for an Exchange Server name. I enter the name and it says it cannot find it. I am thinking it is because it is the wrong version of Manager.

So, two questions:

1) Where can I find Service Pack info, and,

2) How do I change which Exchange Manager app I am running?

Thank you,
Charles

there should be the exchange system manager installed on the server, if not you can install it from disk. If you want to know what version and service pack level, just get the properties of Store.exe within the bin directory and look at the version number.

Thanks for the info Scotty. I will look at installing the Manager from CD.
