Hello all, I am trying to find out if the X-MS-PolicyKey changes after the interval passes for the policy. The interval, that was set for my policy in the management console, is set to 1 hour. After 1 hour passes, should the X-MS-Policy key change? The above would include if a policy setting, like the inactivity timeout, were to change and / or if no policy settings changed after that hour passes. Just for clarification, the policy I am referring to is the one that is set to my user under the Management Console. ( Microsoft Exchange -> Recipient Configuration -> Mailbox -> right click on user -> properties -> Mailbox Features -> Exchange ActiveSync ) I set this under ( Organization Configuration -> Client Access -> click on policy name and change settings )

I have found so far that if I waited one hour with no policy setting change for my policy on the Exchange 2007 server, that the X-MS-PolicyKey does not change its value. I know already, for certain, that when I made a policy setting change for my policy, that hte X-MS-PolicyKey was a new value. I guess this is to let the device know that it does not have the latest policy since there is a mismatch and that the device is then supposed to retrieve the latest ( newest ) policy from the EX 2007 server.
