I have a lab with 2 domains, Domain A has win2k (AD) with 5.5 installed. Domain B has Win2k (AD) with E2k installed. From what i understand you must use a X400 connector between the 2 domains for directory replecation ect..

I have created the connector on the 5.5 domain and now trying to create it on the E2k domain, after right clicking on connectors --> new --> TCP X400 connector its says i must have at least 1 stack configured on server and click on X400 service node to configure the stack.

I tried this and X400 service node does not give me the option to create one. Note: i do have a smtp connector for external mail on both domains.
Any experience or help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Before creating the connector you have to create a protocol stack. You go to the X.400 protocol section under servers->server->protocols->X.400 and right click on it and select new->TCP/IP X.400 service transport stack and then you go to the connectors and establish the connector.

Right click on X.400 under the protocols, not the connectors. Then it will give the option to create the stack

I found the problem to be that I needed Enterprise version to be installed not standard exchange! [Smile] [Smile]
