i have formated 3 times and installed Xchange srv 2003 configured over POP3 i can send mail inside in my office but fail to send other domain like hotmail etc what could be the problem
is it a problem with my dns or from iSP. advance thanks. "[Confused]"

Hi,

What is the error message you get when trying to send to external recipients?

Relaying denied?
If this is the case you need to allow the clients to relay (be carefull only to allow the clients to relay) and then configure the clients to authenticate when sending using SMTP.

You must also make sure that the exchange server is configured to use your AD DNS server and that this DNS server is configured to use your ISP's DNS servers as forwarders.
