Hi all, I am new to Exchange and I am having issues when receiving emails. So far I have used OWA and I can send email just fine. The telnet test works, I can send and receive that way but if I try to send emails from an external account (hotmail or yahoo) it does not get to my box. The MX record is on my DNS server and the nslookup query shows it. One note is that my dns is not active directory integrated (not part of the AD domain), could this be a problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Log onto your home computer (which is not part of your network) and see if you can find that MX record. This will test to see if other domains can locate that MX record.

If you can locate it, try to telnet to that MX record from your home PC.
