Dear All,

Every day my priv.edb file size growing very fast with in a week days time it occupied more than 1GB disk space, can anybody help me in this regard please. Recently i installed instant messaging server and sp2 after that my .stm file size also grown upto more than 1GB but now the stm file stopped growing and edb file growing abnormally.

Hi Naresh. How many people do you have using your exchange server? Do they all have mail boxes with lots of items they are not deleting? You might notify everyone to clean out their mail boxes and consider changing the settings for each user in the Active Directory Users and Computers. Each user has an option under the Exchange General tab to set the mailbox size limits. I can't remember exactly what the default size is, but you can go with your own settings and force people to clean out their boxes on a regular basis.
