Your message is difficult to understand, but it sounds like you want to install an Exchange server as part of an existing domain.

If that's the case, build a server, join it to your domain, then install Exchange.

So you have 2 Exchange servers (1 on DC, other on member server).

quote:

What do you want to join ?? Sorry it's still unclear, however i'l try my best to answer question to what ever lil bit i could grasp from your comments.

Do you want the second exchange server to also participate in sending emails outside along with the existing first server? - (If this is your question) - you could do this by adding the second server to the bridgehead tab on SMTP Connector (In case you do not have a SMTP Connector - you would be required to create one and add both server in it as bridgehead servers).

Do you want us to explain, how to start external mail-flow from your exchange environment ??
For this you would have to create a new SMTP Connector - add a smart host / dNS (which ever suits your production needs) - add one of the server as bridgehead server on SMTP Connector (you may add both - again this depends on your needs).

Mentioned below are the links on SMTP Connector.

There is no update on the previous case - did we succeed / fail ?? Please stick to one question per thread. It becomes confusing for some one who reads the thread and later finds that the thread has changed course mid-way with another question.
