i am a complete newb to exchange. while i understand parts of exchange i'm in no way an expert on it. but a client i'm working for is having a problem and i can't find an answer.

the problem we're having is that new users added into the active directory cannot access the already shared calendars. i've checked permissions and delegates in outlook to see what i could find, but have decided that the permissions more than likely lie on the server side rather than client.

when i access the exchange system manager, and go to the public folders to right click then select properties i get an exchange system manager id no. 80004005 (or something in that area) and am not able to access the properties.

we have new users on the domain that would like to be able to access these calendars but i'm at my wits end.

any suggestions?

thanks!
