Hi all, We have just bought another domain and need to add it to exchange 2007. I have added it as an accepted domain and created a policy for it. When i create a new email user and click the drop down box to choose the domain it is not there in the list. How do I add it to this drop down list? Any suggestions would be of great help Thanks in advance Stephen

Hi Stephan, AD Domain and Exchange (SMTP) domain are two different cocepts. When you are adding it to accepted policy in exchange, you are talking about the SMTP domain and what ever mails hits the exchagne for this domain, exchagne will accept it. When you are talking about adding domain name during user creation,. you refer to AD domain. and that is called as UPN Suffixes. "AD domain is where users logged in for central administration" You can add those suffixes by using AD domain and trust.

Thanks for the reply Jugal. By adding the UPN Suffix I can now see what I want and need to. I have a further problem though, when I sent to this new domain I receive the error: Final-Recipient: rfc822;user@mydomain.com.au Action: failed Status: 5.7.1 Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for user@mydomain.com.au any ideas? Thanks in advance

Have you set the Accepted domain correctly? Have you setup an email address policy for that domain? Simon.
