I am backing up publid folder store in Exchange Server 2000 using the ntbackup thru commandline with following

backup  "@d:\ExchBkup\exchangePublicFolder.bks" /f "D:\ExchBkup\BackupPublicFolders.bkf" /j
"Exchange server backup"  /d "Exchange backup setcreated %date% %time%" /v:yes /r:no /rs:no

I get the BackupPublic.bkf file. Now i want to ensure whether the backup i have taken is correct or not.
To do this i try to restore BackupPublic.bkf  using the Windows Backup Utility(GUI).

After the backup i delete a public folder "PubFoldNew", i created before backup.
Now i attempt to restore, in order to see the folder PubFoldNew again after restore.
But there is no change in public folder instances, in the public folder store.i.e.
i do not see the folder PubFoldNew after restore.

How do i see that i am restoring properly? how do i know that the backupfile created is correct?
