We are trying to set up a Exchange 2000 server on 40 pre-schools in Leiden, Holland.
That means that 40 servers will be equiped with Exchange 2000. The teachers are going to use Web Acces because administration is Central and Web access is a lot safer...
The schools demand that several extensions will be blocked, for example .exe, .vbs, .pif etc.
How can we do that in Exchange 2000?
tnx, R@sto

I am using Tredn Micro's ScanMail solution for this purpose. The best thing about ScanMail is that it can block attachments & even it can scan your message body & content of your attachments. ScanMail e-Manager can help you fighting Spams. Since you need at least some AntiVirus Application for your exchange, the Scanmail is really good for that. http://www.trendmicro.com

Mailsecurity from GFI is good for blocking attachments, and it is good as well since it can scan attachment's bodies and even mail bodies. http://www.gfi.com
