E2k w/ q291222 applied, w2k server sp1 When attempting to mount the default public store, I receive the message "The store couldn't be mounted because AD information was not replicated yet..." with options to retry or cancel. Both choices return "...could not find the specified object c1041722" I've read Q279652, Q257222, and Q238102, all of which did not fix the problem. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks, John

I already met the same situation, and we fixed it (not 100% how it must be) but it still works. Just rerun the exchange installation with the switch /domainprep. After the installation is finished (almost 5 mins in all) restart the machine, and the exchange is back online. Note that each time you restart the exchange box or restart the exchange services, you have to rerun the installation with the /domainprep switch. Let me know how it went. ------------------ Regards Robert Abela robert@gfi.com

Ran the steps as you specified and I still have the problem... can it be AD related? It's a really simple setup.... 1 server, 2 clients. The AD server is on the same box as the e2k box. One site, one forest, one dc, etc, etc, etc. Any other ideas?

I'm having the same problem in the lab here. I run support\utils\i386\policytest.exe and it reports "! Right NOT found !". So I rerun /domainprep and one dc will get the "SeSecurityPrivilege" right. About 5 minutes later that "right" is gone. And databases still won't mount? The Exchangeserversetup.log doesn't seem to report anything out of the ordinary but I don't really speak that language either. ------------------ Billy Suguitan Lucent Worldwide Services
