You need to prep the parent domain as well as the child domain. That will have to be done manually. I would actually suggest that ALL child domains are prep'ed.
Do you have Exchange already anywhere in the forest?

Simon.

HI
Thanks for reply
Yes Exchange 2007 is already installed on my forst
From the Root Domain I ran the command
Setup.com /pd:child1.domain.com
this step is completed success
I add the Child1\administrator to the Exchange Org Admin
But this did not help and I still unable to install the exchange as its keep telling that I need to be an Enterprise Admin or Exchange Org Admin, Even this user already Ex Org Admin
I fix this by using the Enterprise Admin and install the system
but I dont want to do this
Any comment
Thanks

Presuming that the account has the relevant permissions in the domain and the Exchange org then it should have installed correctly without using the Enterprise Admin account. That is the point. I would tend to suspect that something wasn't right with the permissions of the account that you were trying to use - poor replication, something like that.

HI
I add the Domain Admin for to the Exchange Org Admin and gave it time to replicate
Replication problem is not in the NTFRS Log.. there are some but when then child is created .. the AD Replication is not finished yet but later nothing
Is there any problem if I use the Ent. Admin for this installation

Thanks

There is no problem using an account in the parent domain. Once Exchange is installed the permissions should allow management to take place.

Once Exchange is installed, if the permissions are delegated correctly then the Child admin should be able to manage the server.
