hi
ok i got the exchange server up and running i can email out but dont receive emails.
iam trying to use no ip.com for my free dns
would any help me set it up.

testrichard.no.ip.com this is what i used in no ip
this is the steps i took

Exchange System Manager
Recipient Policies
E-Mail Addresses (Policy)ö tab
Default Policy
select Properties
E-Mail Addresses (Policy)ö tab
Edit
testrichard.no.ip.com

Your Server Nameö > Protocols > SMTP
Default SMTP Virtual Server
general
Click on the ôDelivery

Advanced Delivery
Configure
enter the dns ip address of no ip

and opened my ports on the router

then gone back to no ip.org

in MX Record part
i put testrichard.no-ip.org
is there anything iam missing?


just this way i can get a better idea of how it all works.

What about DNS entries? Host and esp MX records?

If your MX record says testrichard.no-ip.org and your recipient policy says testrichard.no-ip.com your Exchange server won¦t receive any mails. You have to add the address testrichard.no-ip.org to your recipient policy and make sure "This Exchange Organization is responsible for all mail delivery to this address" is enabled.

isnt this what you mean? if so i have don it.

do u mean no ip dns of their servers or can i use some1 elses dns ip?

do you mean this part?

This is what I mean. It says that your MX Record ends with .org.

This is what I mean. It says that your MX Record ends with .org.
