Alright, this is the deal:
I have 2 Exchange 2003 servers (one on server 2003, the other is an sbs2003 box). The SBS is primary MX for domain.com. The second machine is set as MX for subdomain.domain.com. This all works fine and dandy.
All the users of subdomain.domain.com use domain.com primary addresses, and the SBS is set to forward for those users from address@domain.com, to address@subdomain.domain.com.
I know, unneccessarily complicated - but the higher forces (management) wants it that way.
Now users on both servers can both send and recieve externally, and internally, but i cannot send messages to inbetween the servers.
user1@domain.com cannot e-mail user2@subdomain.domain.com. This works (or doesnt work) both ways. Any suggestions?

Hi portwerm,
Are you using two different Exchange ORGs?
Are you using two different Activ Dir Domains/Forests? I believe you can only have one exchange ORG per forest.
Also, what error message do the users receive when sending from user1.domain.com to user2.subdomain.domain.com ?
Thanks.
