Hello, I am deploying for a customer an exchange2007 with mailbox, client access and hub transport role on a single server, no edge server because the customer has about 50 users only. The server is published through MS ISA Server 2006. The customer wants that mail sent from users belonging to groups such as "accounting" or "helpdesk" have in the sender address accounting@domain.com or helpdesk@domain.com. I know that the edge role provides address rewriting rules, but is it possible to define similare rule at the hub transport level? Any help is welcome nicola

Nicola, Maybe you can do this by making a transport rule on the hub server and then choose to change the header for mail send from a specific group and change the following fields: header: from value: e-mail adres. Let me know if it works.

Greetings! The Transport Rule was the first thing i've tried, but it cannot accept the rewriting of "from" header (when finisihing the configuration it warns you). So i've tried to use the Address Rewrite feature at the Edge Transport. But, it doesn't work. I've double checked all steps and pre-requisites, the outbound rule is accepted (everything from servers.corp.internal is changed to corp.com). Then, sending to an external address (Yahoo, in this case), the email still arrives with the servers.corp.internal suffix. Any idea? Thanks in advance. Fabio Ramiro

Fabio, I think you have another issue, please check which is the primary smtp address of the user and change it to the correct one. Please change the default e-mail address policy to add the corp.com address and have a look if it works.
