Can anyone help with the following Exchange 2003 application warning event the server constantly reports

Source: MSExchangeTransport
Event ID: 1710
Description:
The SMTP client "172.16.1.xx" authenticated as user "xxxx\scheduler" attempted to send as "eboss@xxx.co.uk".  Access was denied because the authenticated client does not have permission to Send As this SMTP address.

The scheduler account emails out reports as eboss. I have had no complaints that reports from scheduler have stopped.

I have looked in all the obvious places (relays etc) but I cannot find anything wrong?

Any suggestions welcome and thanks in advance

Status: offline 		What permissions does that account have for the account that holds that address?
If you don't have an account with that SMTP address then that might be part of the problem.
