Hello All,

Basically, what I am trying to do is delete the contents of the bad mail folder, from a command line(remotely), without directly accessing the folder. When we access the folder to delete the contents, we get error messages. I have been told there is a command line, but that person cannot remember what it might be.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

Try this solution http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;867642

Or you could map a drive that points to the BadMail folder, for example X: and then run the following command:

del x:\*.* /f /q

It works fine for me.

I tried this badmailadmin tool, it looked as though it was working, however when it got to the bad mail folder, it just sat there for hours, and never finished. I will try the command line you recommended.
