I inherited a 5.5 box that needs SP4 installed. I need to uninstall Mailsweeper to do so. Anybody out there got the complete instructions for the removal of Mailsweeper? I want to make sure I get all the registry entries removed.

can i ask why you think you need to remove MAILsweeper and also why MAILsweeper is on the same server as Exchange5.5?

Is it Mailsweeper for Exchange or Mailsweeper for SMTP? Which version?

good question. I inherited the situation. Because Mailsweeper is installed on the Exchange server, I want to aviod any possible downside risk when I do the upgrade to SP4. So I want a complete removal

Nothing on MS or technet....you may have to wait for a reply to your post in the MIMEsweeper for exchange forum ... [Wink]

Although, there is a post on that forum from Randy Brown with the subject...
