Is it possible to convert *.edb ---> *.pst instead of the regular backup on the server?

For me it will be enough, because I use Exchange only for shared contacts for my users.

You could use Exmerge to put data to pst, but if the edb gets corrupt, then it's easier to restore from a backup of the edb rather than pst.

To do this conversion, do you need to have Exchange 5.5 running or can you just use the .edb file itself? Thanks!

I found a couple applications that will do this without the Information store being active or Exchange installed. The cheapest is ExchangeServerRecovery, I think the website is officerecovery.com. Good luck!

Hi !

You can use Kernel for edb to pst converter software. It works really good and very powerful tool. Few months i have used it. It convert my all edb file to Pst file on a single mouse click.It 's a very user friendly software. You can find it from www.edbtopst.com

Yes conversion is possible from Exchange Server to PST files, here are two solutions to convert BKF to PST and EDB to PST

I agree with you, now it is possible to recovery from Exchange server we have many solution or tool for recover data but EDB to PST Converter tool helps to you convert data from exchange to outlook PST file.
