At some point overnight one of my databases was dismounted and is showing 0 kb in the file. Fails to mount. I believe to have all of the log files. I'm in the process now of copying all of the current folder from that database to an external drive.

I also have an old backup using the Dell AppAssure backup software. How can I get this database up and running so people can at least start working again. I'm hoping to eventually be able to restore email from not to the backup date using the log files.

Really need some help with this.

Using eseutil /mh

[PS] C:\Windows\system32>eseutil /mh F:\Agents\Agents.edb

Extensible Storage Engine Utilities for Microsoft(R) Exchange Server
Version 14.01
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All Rights Reserved.

Initiating FILE DUMP mode...
Error: Access to source database 'F:\Agents\Agents.edb' failed with Jet error -1206.

This may have happenned due to a corrupted database header. Explicitly setting a page size might bypass this failure.

Operation terminated with error -1206 (JET_errDatabaseCorrupted, Non database file or corrupted db) after 0.16 seconds.

[PS] C:\Windows\system32>

You can convert Exchange EDB files into PST file format manually by deploying Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Merge Program (Exmerge.exe). This is a free utility provide by Microsoft and specially develop to recover corrupted EDB files and save it into MS Outlook Data file format (PST).

Hope it would be helpful
