When Integrating Lync 2010 with Unified Messaging Server, do you require public certifcate or the internal cert is fine?

For Lync server I would use a public certificate. This is specially true for users trying to use it on their own laptops, Macs and other non-domain devices.

For UM server, you can use an internal certificate just fine.
