HI,

Yesterday a person sent a mail to almost 70 people and most of them were sent but 8 to 10 emails didnt get through and stucked in Exchange server's queue, now every time i restart the server it starts sending the emails to all those (70) addresses, there a few messages that are not being delivered every time.

I attempted to remove processed messages and the messeges that are in retry process from the queue but it is not removing from the queue. Deleting messeges (no NDR) only makes the message size and number of message zero but it does not remove it from the queue. If the messages are not removed before the service is shut down, the mail will be resent at service startup and causing duplicate mail.

Has anyone else ever seen this issue.. If so any help on this would be great. a sooner reply will be very appriciated.

Your SMTP Temp tables seems corrupted.

Oh yes do not forget to rename the VS1 folder after you are through with the above steps.
