I have an Exchange 2007 server that has the copy status of the First Storage Group "Disabled". Usually there is an option to Enable/Disable or Suspend Local Continuos Replication, but is is not showing as an option. The database otherwise is healthy and runs well, but is not giving clean backups.

This is a stand alone Exchange 2007 Server for a small organization and only has one storage group ... the First Storage Group.  I'd like to Enable the Local Continuous Replication.  Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get the option to show up?  Do I have to create a second storage group to replicate to?

Thank You for any help you can give!

If it's not backing up properly it's not healthy.
We need to help you fix that little challenge and then we can move on to the next - which will probably be solved automatically.

The error message on Symantec Backup Exec 12 is that the consistency check for the snapshot fails for the open file option (MS Volume Shadow Copy).

Shortly thereafter there is an Access is Denied error.

The backup account has full access for backup.
