hey all, noob here. also noob to most things server. i have the XP desktop down and have worked with everything but Linux. i am now studying the server side to expand my job search.

i know exchange mail (haven't actually worked with it) but could someone tell me how an enterprise server comes into play here? what is enterprise? i see other OS's that have some sort of Enterprise server, like Linux. Enterprise is not just windows--right? i have done google searches without getting the answer i need.....

Exchange comes in 3 flavors:
a) Small Business Server. One server as a DC and Exchange for upto 75 users max.

b) Standard. Can install on one one server, cannot use Front End/Back end setup. Can only have one Mailbox store. Ideal for small business with 75 users or more.

c) Enterprise. For large organisations using
multiple servers and multiple storage groups and stores. Can also support clustering. Ideal for fault tolerance setups.
