Hi all,

I'm migrating the mailbox from E2k3 to E2k7 through the GUI.  After the mailbox have been move, we're not able to recieve or send anymore.

Another thing, we the user open outlook 2007, there is an exchange.domain.com popup box ask to enter username and password, doesn't matter how many time I enter the right username and password, the box still pop up unless I click cancel.  But after that a different box popup, this time is autodiscover.domain.com and the same thing happen.

Should I remove E2k3?  Since it wont be use anymore.

Hope you can help me out.  thank you very much

mail flow works alright after I start the Microsoft Exchange Transport service.  But the popup box still pop up.  It works as normal if the user click on cancel but I have to find the way to solve it.  It's gonna annoy users.  Still need help on that.

Try to browse autodiscover.smtpdomain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml from the browser? Are you able to browse it. Most likely its an auth issue with the autodiscover virtual directory.

Please show us the results of

Test-OutlookWebServices

This doesn't look like an issue with E2k3 issue - however if you want to try out and verify - try logging in using OL 2k3 and check if the same issue ? If it is - try shutting down the E2k3 box for testing purpose.

Prima-facie i believe this is an issue with Auto Discovery service, hence please post the result the test i asked for.

Is it has something with web service?  Because our owa works beautiful.  Those pop up happen internally.  These computers are in our domain and we just use OL 2k7.

Do I need to run the Test-OutlookWebServices ?  And if yes, is it run in the EMS?

Once again, I found out the solution for myself.
I have to add "ExchangeServer.Domain.Com" into exception proxy in IE and it solves the problem.

it only happens with OL 2k7 but not OL 2k3.

I think my problem is the Autodiscovery.
I can use AD to put the exchange in IE exception but it doesn't seem to be the right way.  I saw a few command line but whenever I run it, I always have an error.

sorry, no background with exchange before.  Need more help on this.

Thank you.
