Moving mb from ex2000 to ex2007, I get : Error occurred in the step: Opening source mailbox. Failed to open mailbox with error: ClassFactory cannot supply requested class, error code: -1056749262 I have 2 ex2000 servers that are being migrated to 2 ex2007 servers. I had no problems moving mb's from the first set of servers (ex2000 -> ex2007). This error only occurs when I try to move users located in domainA to either of the ex2007 servers. I do not think it is a problem with the ex2007 server because I was able to move a user located in domainB to both servers. I am not sure where to look on DomainA for the problem. I have compared Mailbox rights between the 2 and while there are differences, I made the DomainA account look like a 'good' account and it still failed. This is NOT an issue of the account being disabled or hidden. That is the only answer I have found for this error so far in my web searches. Any suggestions? Thanks!

hi mate, Can you check the permission for the user who is moving the mailbox from source to target. you can run exbpa tool and check. > make sure inheritence permission is checked : Open ADSIEDIT => Configuration => Services => Ms Exchange => First Administrative Group => Right click that mailbox store and properties => Advanced and see that it is checked. Even you can test it by creating a new account and giving all the owner right and try to move the mailbox via that account

The report does not indicate any errors at all. In other exbpa reports, any found errors are explicit, is it the same with the permissions report? I just want to make sure I am not missing anything.

A reboot of the source email server resolved the issue. Thanks for your help.
