Have you checked that the certificate authority which issued the certificate for your sites is trusted by the mobile device? They only have avery limited number of root authority by default.

I had to install my root authotity's certificate on my device to get it to work sounds like same problem

If you have used a self generated certificate I would suggest a change a commercial SSL certificate that is trusted by Windows Mobile. It will be a lot easier to deploy and you will not get issues with the SSL certificate prompts.

Using a self generated certificate means you have to import the certificate in to the device, which some providers will not allow you to do. Using a commercial certificate avoids that issue.

GoDaddy are the cheapest supplier of certificates that are suitable for Exchange 2007. You need a UC/SAN certificate for correct operation of Exchange 2007 with SSL certificates. I blogged on the procedure here: http://www.sembee.co.uk/archive/2008/05/30/78.aspx

Furthermore you didn't need to generate your own certificate for Exchange 2007 - the installer did it for you.

Simon.
