After a reboot I get the following 3 errors:
The server was unable to add the virtual root '/Exadmin' for the directory '\\.\BackOfficeStorage'

The server was unable to add the virtual root '/Exchange' for the directory 'M:\domainname.com\MBX' due to the following error:

The server was unable to add the virtual root '/public' for the directory 'M:\domainname.com\Public Folders

I am just assuming that the virtual drive has not yet initialzed??? and this is the cause or are there deeper issues?

Thanks,

Birhen

To remove the error flags, restart IIS. To avoid getting the error flags at each reboot, perform the following steps to make the Web service dependent on the Exchange Information Store (IS) service:

Start regedt32.exe.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\w3svc.
Double-click DependOnService.
On the first blank line, add the following text:

MSExchangeIS

Click OK.
Close regedt32.

Obviously, if you remove Exchange 2000 from the system, you must remove the service dependency on MSExchangeIS or the Web service won't start.
