I am running Windows SBS 2000 with Exchange Server 2000. I upped the RAM on my server to 3gb a couple months ago and now I have constantly have 9582 events every hour on the hour. When I re-start the information store service they stop until exactly 6 hours after I re-started the service, and then the events start coming on an hourly basis again. The microsoft website says this problem had been fixed in exchange sp3. However, I had installed the exchange sp3 and post-sp3 roll-up BEFORE I had upped the RAM, so I am curious if I need to re-install sp3? Should I remove the sp3 first and then re-install it, or can I just re-install it?

Hi thanks for replying -- I thought that switch was only for windows adv server or datacenter? Is it ok to use on windows small business server 2000?

From what I understand, the big difference between server, advanced server and datacenter is how many processors the server can handle. Don't recall anything about them having different upper memory limits.
