I posted here a few weeks back on starting some exchange 2007 testing. I ran across the above link that stated that even after 120 days exchange 2007 will still not disable any functionality. My other concern os can these trial versions be update with up coming service packs? I do remember doing some tesing on LCS 2005 and the trial wopuld not install the service pack I was only able to install it after I went to a full blown version.

In the beginning MS said that there would be no SPs for the 32-bit version of Exchange 2007, but since the 32-bit version is supported in a corporate production environment, when speaking management tasks, they of coruse also need to provide SPs for this version.

So no worries

I thought MS was not going to support 32bit 2007 in a production environment?

You're correct. AS mentioned the 32-bit version is only supported for management tasks such as extending the schema, managing users etc.

So basically you can't have mail boxes on a 32bit server. Also where do you get a full blown known trial 32bit version is this something that can be downloaded from msdn?

Yes and it can't act as any of the other E2K7 server roles either.

A full 120 days 32-bit evaluation version can be downloaded at: http://www.microsoft.com/exchange

If you only need the 32-bit management tools, they get be downloaded at the following URL:
