I have posted some Qs on this before. The configuration works except for one thing. When I test for outlook anywhere connectivity from outside (using autodiscover), it fails on only one thing. Everything else works except autodiscover. Please advise. What am I missing. OWA on IE/Firefox works fine.

The IIS configuration is being checked for client certificate authentication.
Client certificate authentication wasn't detected.
Additional Details
Accept/Require Client Certificates not configured.

Testing Http Authentication Methods for URL https://domain.edu/rpc/rpcproxy.dll
The HTTP authentication test failed.
Additional Details
An HTTP 500 response was returned from IIS7

Hi,

It looks like your IIS is configured to request a client certificate. Please disable this using the following steps:

1.From within Inetmgr, the IIS 7 Manager UI, select the
autodiscover site
2.Select the SSL UI module
3.Under Client certificates: select the ignore radio button
4.Click Apply in the Actions Task Pane

Restart IIS and try again.

Thanks. I checked the settings and it is already set to ignore client certs.

I am more worried about this.

What setting is it talking about?

I think I found the problem. For some reason, Rpc and rpcwithcert sites (and folders) have not installed properly even though it is listed in the IIS manager. Is this a simple fix or should I have to reinstall CAS all over again?
