Hi everyone I'm trying to run exmerge for the first itme on a new server and I keep getting 0x8004011d errors when performnig and exmerge.

Im' using the administrator account which is a full exchange admin but when I check the prmissions end as and recieve as are both denied.

I'm there is a way to resolve this can anyone help??

ok so I "fixed" by using a different user account and giving that account full mail box rights

then I used the run as feature for exmerge

my proposed idea is to creat a group call exmergeusers then add in the appropiate accoounts... and continue to use the run as feature but allpy the permissiong at the top level so the propigate down.

is this what I should be donig or do I have sometihng misconfigured??

In Exch2003 there is no "master account" that has access to all others. As long as you are okay with the security and/or legal implications of what you propose, that is an acceptable solution. Every Exchange environment (i.e. corporation) is potentially different, so only you can speak to those.
