I have 800+ entries to add to sender filtering in a text file; anyone know of a way to export them to the global message delivery sender filter?

800 separate domains or even 800 separate mail addresses in sender filtering is no way to control submission rights to your server. Where have you got this list of 800 from and why do they not get blocked by the IMF and/or your 3rd party spam/content filter?

The list is a consolidation of several of our highest hit Outlook junk e-mail filters. I figured it would be easier to add them at the global filter level....?

I wouldn't waste your time trying to block those domains, they change constantly as it is. Odds are they are coming from a set of few IP addresses.

Best advice? Spend $675 and get GFI's mail essentials spam filter. (100 mailbox)

Have you considered (or already implemented) connection filtering using Spamhaus' SBL and/or XBL lists (or other similar service)? It's pretty easy to implement, free, and just another layer of spam filtering.

I pointed connection filtering to spamhaus.org . Will watch for false positives.... can't seem to find where the filtered mail goes though...

If I recall correctly, if a message matches a SBL-XBL listing, the SMTP session is closed with the sending server before the message is received.

Tried connection filtering, but had much better luck with GFI's ME. Very cool product with a lot of tweaks and customization available!
