Hello

I have registered a new domain as (compudesk.com) over the internet for the setup mail server in our organization.

But we have already 1 Windows 2003 Main Domain Controller in our organization and this domain act as file server / logon server / database server as (hostname.jpmaster.com) and this domain is also registered over the internet.

I wonder about how do I manage to install two different domain in single network (192.168.1.0) in our organization.

Is it possible to install two different domain in single 192.168.1.0 network as we are running our network in 192.168.1.0 only.

Our main forest domain is jpmaster.com. Can I install another forest or new domain (compudesk.com)in the same nework?

We have plan to use compudesk.com domain for setup mail server and having plan to install Windows 2003 Server and Microsft Windows 2003 Server.

I have also some below queries :-

Should I need to run forestprep and domainprep on new domain installation (compudesk.com) as we have already run forestprep and domainprep on our existing domain controller (jpmaster.com) during installation.

Note : we do not have plan to install child domain for setup mail server.

I appreciate your inputs and thoughts on these.

Thanks & Regards
Wagner

Hi

If you want to receive mail for the new domain just and a recpient policy in Exchange for that domain.  You don't need to alter your internal structure.
