A user is struggling to send mail to a public folder. I've given the user "owner" rights yet she cannot send mail to the Public folder. I can send mail to it though. This using the GAL and the folder's SMTP address. I've even given "anonymous" "contributor" rights. Still no joy. Anyone have the same problem?

Thanx

I don't know the answer ...and this could be a stretch....but would suggest you view the network conversation (hand shaking) which will probably tell you alot. pull down the free trial appdancer.com to view network

Did you assign "write"-rights to the anonymous account for this folder? I think this is necessary if you want to send mail to a public folder.
