1. Install win2k server and make it a member of the domain.
2. Dcpromo it.
3. Demote your current PDC to a BDC.
4. After the domain controllers have replicated you can remove the NT4 BDC if you would like.
5. Next install E2k into the 5.5 site and create an Active Directory Connector (ADC) from AD to the 5.5 server.
6. Move the mailboxes and public folders from 5.5 to e2k server.
7. Remove the 5.5 server.

Hi,
I also have the same problem that upgrade exchange 5.5 in Winnt 4.0 to e2k in w2k. However, the exchange 5.5 will stop until the migration successfully. How can I do? I don't want to upgrade anything in the old server. Because I worry about the system will down after I do anything. I already tried to use ExMerge, but I failed. It has an error that is access right in IS. Please give me some advises.

Thanks!
