I have a NT 4.0 BDC running Exchange 5.5. We are going to replace our PCD with AD and a new file server. Also we have a new server running W2K and E2KSP2 on a new domain. What i want to know is what is the best route to getting all of my mailboxes and public folders to my new E2K server. Here is what i have in mind. 1. Upgrade BDC to W2K. 2. Demote server to member server. 3. Join new domain. 4. setup up connectors and pull over mailboxes and P.F's. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds as if you are on the right track. Make sure you service pack the ADC (i have seen several issues with creating dup accounts in AD if it's not at SP2.)
