I am currently working on a Migration from Software.com Postoffice v3.5 (POP3/SMTP) running on Win 2k to Exchange 2000. I would like to have both mail systems co-exist and do a staggered migration. Currently, Post.office hosts the .com address. I am thinking the best to accomplish this transition is to set up forwarding rules/contacts on the Exchange Server to post office. Then I would move the mx record to the Exchange server. Is this sound thinking, or is there a better way?
