Can this be done?

I have just installed Exchange Server 2000 and would like to import my users Outlook Express e-mail back into Exchange. We have been using just Outlook Express for 2 years now, and have decided to now have a central mail system. Can the outlook mail be brought back into Exchange Server?

Thank You

Hello Chris,

Outlook Express contains all messages in a .PST file, so yes it's possible to merge the messages to mailboxes on an Exchange Server. To do that you need to use the Exchange Migration Wizard also called Exmerge.

You can download the newest version of Exmerge at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=429163EC-DCDF-47DC-96DA-1C12D67327D5&displaylang=en

For detailed info about Exmerge, check:
