I am in the process of upgrading to a new server. My current plan is to export the mail to pst files, down the old server, install Exchange on the new server and import the mail.

Is there an easier way of moving Exchange 2000 from the existing server to the new server? If it helps, I am also running Backup Exec 8.6 for Exchange.

Thank you,
Rick Bonazelli

You could join the new server to the existing Exchange Organisation and use the 'Move Mailbox' method which will be better than using PSTs.
