Hello All,
I'm actually in my test environment moving a few test users to the new server. They move successfully but the MAPI name in the outlook profile doesn't update like I read it would. How long does this usually take? I waited about 30 minutes and tried, rebooted, etc...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
John

replication may take a while depending on the amount of data moved and the number of mailboxes moved.Rebooting will only intterupt the replication cycle.

It's a new exchange server added to an existing exchange org right?

Your Is your original server still running?

Yes ajhugo, new EX2k server, same site. Old server still up.

I rebooted the workstation not the server. [Smile]
These were test mailboxes ~ 100kb in size. I wouldn't expect this great of length in time.

Yes it did, took about an hour. Kind of disappointing. Shouldn't be too much of an issue, I plan to move a dept each night until I have them all moved.

Thanks!

Then what do you do if you have them all moved?
I moved my account to a new server. I am not sure if I move everyones account and shut off the old server or if I move my account back and copy the database files as a whole.
