I'm trying to prepare my domain for upgrade to 2003 server. My DC is my Exchange 2000 computer also. When I run adprep /forestprep it gives me this failure and I can't find any posts on a fix. Any help would be much appreciated.

Failure is:

Adprep was unable to extend the schema.

[Status/Consequence]

There is a schema conflict with Exchange 2000. The schema is not upgraded.

[User Action]

The schema conflict must be resolved before running adprep. Resolve the schema conflict, allow the change to replicate between all replication partners, and then run Adprep. For information on resolving the conflict, see Microsoft Knowledge Base article Q325379.

Thank you in advance

Doug

Problem Fixed. I went back to Microsoft Article ID : 325379.
Under Heading Microsoft Exchange 2000 in Windows 2000 forests.
Scenario 2: Exchange 2000 schema changes will be installed before the Windows Server 2003 adprep /forestprep command and reaccomplished step 5 and it finally ran without any failures. Thanks again.
